今回は一般的にもよく使われる表現の”from time to time”です。意味は文字通り「その時々に」となります。英文契約書上では、「適宜」「随時」という訳語がはまるケースが多いようです。
【例文】
① The term “Products” means the SpeedyChecker-1 and SpeedyChecker-2 assays in a format detailed in Schedule 1 hereto, and component part thereof as varied from time to time pursuant to Article 9 hereof.
② For distribution in the Territory, ABC shall from time to time sell XYZ and XYZ shall purchase from ABC the Products by way of separate sales agreements, subject to the terms and conditions of this AGREEMENT.
【訳文例】
①「本製品」とは、添付書類１に詳記される形態の分析検査用スピーディーチェッカー１およびスピーディーチェッカー２ならびにそのいっさいの構成物を意味する。ただし、これらは、第9条により随時変更される。
②販売地域内における流通のために、本契約の諸条件に従い別途削除される売買契約により、ABCは、随時製品をXYZに販売し、XYZは、これをABCから購入する。

① の”Schedule”はいわゆるスケジュールではなく、「添付書類」を指しますので注意しましょう。英文契約書上の独特の表現ですね。
